The In 2022, we conducted interviews of male and female guides (and porters) regarding the Nepal trekking tourism industry. The content that follows is based on our field research and interviews with the goal of elevating the voices of Nepali guides and porters as we shed light on the workforce issues and lack of equity within the trekking tourism industry.
